Mike song of the week (Special covers edition) :

"Won't Get Fooled Again" covered by Dream Theater and Queensryche.

I saw there show last week and man was it off the hook. For the encore they came out and both bands did a Dream Theater song, then they both did a Queensryche song. For there last song they covered The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" I have never heard a song that simply rocked this hard. I don't know how 2 bassists, 3 lead guitarists, 2 keyboardists, 2 singers, and 2 drummers playing polyrythems can stay together and make it sound this good, but holy hell did they ever!

Sounds like a good time! I'll probably never be able to find a copy of that on Kazaa http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Anywho, The Who kick ass, so I bet it rocked.

Strangest lyrics ever. But very good song.

"The Reflecting God" by Marilyn Manson. I prefer the live version from his "Last Tour on Earth" CD...

"...I went to god just to see, but I was looking at me..."

As it should!

If you're looking for cheery-make-me-happy music--buy the Zwan CD (With Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin of the Smashing Pumpkins--and the Bassist from A Perfect Circle).

'Placebo - Every Me and every you.'

I recently just got interested in placebo so it's only fitting I should throw them in here somewhere.

'No, Not Now' by Hot Hot Heat.

They keep playing this song on MTV2 and ive got it stuck in my head. And the music video reminds me of the game 'No One Lives Forever' for some reason.

Nice choice.

I still have to give props to any song on the Mars Volta CD. Not even superb applauds like "Kick ass" do the album justice.

And I thought I was the only one who liked them! I got W/O You I'm Nothing when it came out(I worked @ a music store @ the time)

Do you have Sleeping With the Ghosts?

My favorite from them is probably My Sweet Prince.
