XBox: Character Movements in Lobby

I have PSO for the XBOX and while I am in a lobby I notice people's characters like raising their hands and stuff like that, I was wondering if any of you know how to do that?

It almost looked like they were the movements the people in The Sims made when they were talking to each other.
