FFXI Beta (got mine)

Came today in the mail, and the thing is, i had no idea id be getting it. I applied at about 5 websites for the damn thing but never got any emails or anything. But anyways it came today, and I was psyched.

I find the whole game very confusing to say the least. While very fun its confusing the hell out of me. I only know how to use the basics of the game, battle use cure and Dia (im a Tarutaru WHM lvl 4). Ive only been to shops once, and I had to ask someone to bring me to them, some nice level 22 guy helped me out, bought me some spells that im leveling up to use.

So far the game, while fun, is kind of slow, hopefully the battles will pick up, i havnt teamed up with anyone yet, maybe playing solo isnt the rush Im looking for. Tomorrow (*looks at time) later today Ill try and team up with people and go adventuring. See FFXI at its fullest, as full as beta can go anyways.

Does anyone else have FFXI Beta? Id like to play with some people, except Im not really sure how the buddy list thing works or meeting with people in other worlds and whatnot.

Yo, I dont have the beta but if you go to FFXIOnline.com and hit up the forums I'm sure you could find some people to play with. Hope that helps...

I wonder if they can play with ps2 beta users yet? No?

I made a black mage yesterday...TaruTaru rox. But the game is really slow, and you typically its stupid to team up with people till about level 12 or higher. My Warrior is 13 and its stille a bit stupid to team up. But we've killed one Orchish Chief boss so far with a group of 6. WHM are hard to come by jfyi. But Matt we gotta try to meet up later you so I can bite your shins.
