So far I've been lucky enough (16) not to put on a shirt with a company logo.

I've had to work for my dad for two years now, but never an actual "job job job...job".

What was your first working job?

Damn the man.

My first working job was washing dishes and preparing food at a pub. I think it was anyway, i also started 'Sticking Up' at the same pub that year (Sticking Up is where some one puts the Skittle Pins back up on the board in Pub Skittle alleys (If you dont know, Skittles is like Bowling, except funner in some ways and everything isnt done by machines)). So its one of those two jobs anyway.

First job was (ugh) working at subway. I'm glad that only lasted about 4 months.

You don't understand. My name is Jared...

The jokes, oh god the jokes. By far my least favorite part of an already crappy job.

My first job, and current job is as a Basketball scorekeeper for 4th grade girls. Hey, for $9 a game, I bet you'd do it too.

i worked at a kindergarten some years ago. been there for 3 months, between school and university, had to take care of the children as well as some gardening. it was the best thing i ever did in my life so far, although the payment was pretty low...

(kindergarten being an english word is a really funny thought ^-^)

Blockbuster.

The free rentals are nice, but the managers who don't give me any breaks during 7-hour shifts are not!

I've done a few odd web jobs. Made a few web sites, none of them exist anymore (except www.thescrapbookco.com, and it got remodeled after I was done with it), but I got paid a bit. No cash right now, no HL. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cry.gif But I will get one soon. Just need to mow some more lawns. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

First job, the one I still have.

Started out working for a therapy company, working at home with all the computer related stuff, typing employee and facility contracts, memos, manuals, etc.

Then I worked on the Admin's computer and helped him with that when he needed it, then started going around to multiple facilities as a small aide.

Now I'm at a dedicated facility, and I've been through seven different therapists. >_<

Great work though if you don't have any trouble makers working with you, but I've lasted through one of THE biggest idiots God ever blessed the earth with, so I think I'm rather prepared for any BS ahead.

I still do some computer related work, goto meetings, help with treatments and paperwork. Fun work.

Washing dishes for an independently owned diner. It was horrible, really.

All of you be thankful you don't have a job where you are surrounded by rednecks talking about acid trips. I hated it.

I am now working at Kroger(grocery store), which is very nice.

My first real job was working at Bob Evans as a cook. Its was alright until they changed there policies.

Then I worked at Red Lobster, the managers were completely and utterly lost in there duties they had no idea how to run the store and undestaffed it too much.

Now I am working at Bob Evans again go figure eh.

First (real) Job was at Old Navy. I hate clothes so I didn't really use the 20% discount (30% at BR and Gap) so the job was just all suck.

I worked in the Food Industry (anyone hear of Eat 'n Park?)

then 2 other places. *sigh*

Oh don't even get me STARTED! Blockbuster was my SECOND job...man those managers were lazy tards! It's ok though i gave them so much sh#$ that when i worked with a certain lil lady, we never spoke or acknowledged one another.

My FIRST job was at Knott's Berry Farm, a local theme park out here in Southern California. I worked in Traffic Control, which is basically a job for the lazy or mindless who like to wave their arms alot. I worked in a crosswalk and man that was stressful. Ohh the accidents...

First real job was Technical Support over the phone. The group that I started with, all had previous experience with computers. Managed to get up to the company's standard level with only a month on the job.

Still, good money even if sometimes you had to put up with people that should be taken out of the gene pool for utter stupidity. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_ak.gif

Haha gross.

On topic, I had a paper route when I was 12, if that counts. Other than that, I was a grocery store cart/bag bitch when I was 16.

I worked at a clay pigeon shoot, loading up the clay pigeons in the traps, and then letting them go when someone shouted PULL.
