Bad grammar makes it hard to reply sometimes. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Anyways, I spent most of my time offline when I first got PSO on the Dreamcast. I am an incredible no-life-loser so I was able to get up to about level 90 before I ventured online. I truly enjoy the online scene. Aside from the beggars and GameSharkers. I just like chatting while I'm playing, and also showing off my symbol chat icons was fun.
Let's see, what else....sometimes you can get a nice trade going, or get majorly ripped off.
Well, if you're the kind of guy that would like to show off your character, pretend like you are him with your made up personality, and also become a member of the game's website, submitting fanfics and fanart to make up for your pitiful social life, then you might just love online play. I know I do!

you can find more people to play with. INstead of playing all by your lonesome or having to beg your friends to play with you...

All you have to do is hop on the cube and then *bamf* you're in a lobby searching for a good game.

It is _not_ however, a place to meet girls.

- You can level up faster
- You can trade, if you wish
- You can have fun

And most of all, you can find great people online, if you search well enough.

Mostly its being able to interact with others and finding things you otherwise can't get offline such as the real (or fake) Nei's claw or any of the ring guards.

I got online yesterday for the first time and it is 100 times more fun than offline. I used to hate going through the levels over and over again to level up but with 3 other players, you help each other out and it's much more fun.

I agree with what most people are saying. Playing online is really fun because teaming up with other people, leveling up together, and just being online with people you know like PSO to some extent is just fun! The only bad thing, though, is during the school year, you'll wish you could spend more time online....*sigh* Also, it seems that whenever I look at the clock another hour has gone by ^_^ Oh well, if you can convince your dad to get the hub, I'd definately try.

there is the risk of character corruption though.

When you play online, every game is just a bit different, you meet other players who have distinct personalities and play differently, it really adds alot of camaraderie to the game.

Plus you can trade all those otherwise useless photon drops for add-slots or other useful items. And play the online only quests through the East and West Towers.

Thank You for the replies but my father and I (good grammar) have compromised and I bring the Gamecube stairs and he lets me put it in his office. I hope to see some of you online in a couple of days.
