D and S parts?

I was reading the suggested ideal equipment list and I noticed that the D-parts and the S-parts are suggested for every Android. When I looked at their stats, I saw they were pretty low at both DEF and EVP, at least clearly less than Kasami Bracer and DF field for example. So I want to know, is there anything really special about them except that they have low req lvl?

sparts adds to ur ata by 15 i think, and d parts adds like 45 to ur atp, i have both, and i never use them as my guard wave and standstill sheild are considerably better, i dont know why there sugjested ideal equipment

I'm sure they are meant for the lower levels. The stats aren't bad for the level required, and armor such as Guard Wave and DF Field, have a much higher level requirement, which some people just aren't there yet. D and S parts work well until these levels.

And of course, the slight ATA/ATP bonus.
