How many times did it take you to get the Dragon to spit out a Yamato? I just unlocked vhard mode and want to estimate how many times it may take to obtain one. Please tell me!!!!!

It could take you anywhere from 1 to a million tries, its different for everyone. I got mine the 5th time. I've heard that it takes other someone around 20 to 30 tries. So it's hard to say.

I got mine the second time! Been using it as my main weapon ever since. Very good weapon, but I need something more powerful as I am level 86 trying to survive on Ultimate....

I personnaly think the yamato is way too slow to survive in Ultimate... you would prefer a pair of high hit% mechgun and kill monsters safely http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Get an Agito / Oriagito... I've used it since 80 and It's great.

unless you get it for free online, dont even try to go for Agito/Orotiagito.

basically, go for a few forest rungs. Musachi's and Yamatos are not very rare from the dragon, my Oran and Viridia's have been given a bunch.

i got it my first,second,third, and fith times. after that i didnt need to do forest anymore.

4th time I think. When you least expect it as well. I was hoping the Dragon would drop it for the first 3 times since it says so in the guides. On the 4th go, I was like 'f*ck it, just get some EXP on the way instead' and I expected Meseta when I beat him but then I saw a red box! For a second, I thought it was a Musashi though, lol.

got it on my 3rd time to do the heat sword quest and best the dragon...then i did it again and got another pair. :>....

i have 6 yamatos. oie, why cant i pick up red swords at that rate = /

The dragon dropped my first yamatos on Hard!!! and it was quite useful for a very long time!! till i got to ULT... but keep trying.!! doing forest runs..!! it's not that hard.!! after i was in ULT i found about 2 more in the forest!! but not from the dragon... that icy ass only drops mates..!!!!!
Anyways, keep on looking... it's a good rare in my opinion!!

Yamato plus my god/battle makes it much better, but it is still a tiny bit weak to take on many of the creatures in Ultimate.. Not to mention is is still a little slow on finishing the attack.
