I won't suggest any particular mag because it would just be my personal opinion and you may not agree with it. I just felt it look a bit awkward on my character, but you may feel differently.

All I can say is feed it to the point right before it evolves, save and quit, fire the game up again, evolve it and see if you like the way it looks. If you're happy then carry on, if not just turn the game off without saving (offline of course) and try for a different mag.

Outside of looks though it could be a decent mag. If you want a Rati for the HUcast in your user profile, then it wouldn't be a bad idea because it gives you shifta and deband when the bar fills and when boss fights begin.

i must say, Rati is one of the coolest MAGs out there. i just finally got one (its pretty blue), and am now raising it to take the place of my Sato. Eventually i will raise a Diwari and Nidra as well. Then i shall have...a collection of beautiful MAGs...

but i like Rati cuz it looks like wings. all the cool MAGs look like wings...Varaha... Rati... Devil Wings (duh)... Angel Wings (dur...)...

Best are Varaha and Rati though...with a soul eater you just look...demonic...so cool...so sexy...

Banish has the dark clouds glowing at the tip, but it's a LOT harder to find a Banish than to do the offline Kireek subplot thing in any difficulty

I have to say, i love Rati's and make a habit of raising all mags to be them. They're great for droids, if raised right. They're easy to raise with 0 mind, easy to raise with Milla & Youlla/Estlla/Pilla, typically end up with good stats (5/145/50/0), look damn cool, and cast Shifta/Deband & Reverser. Could you ask for anything more?

I'm currently working on a color gallery for Rati, it should be done soon.

I have one and it's wicked. It casts Shifta & Deband when my PB gauge is up which is a bonus since I can't use S&D (I'm a HUmar). It's Synchro has been low recently since I keep dying on Ultimate. Does Synchro have an effect on how many times it revives you when you die?

I'm not sure, but I do know that the chance on revival is VERY low. Make sure your IQ is 200, and try to keep the sync up as much as possible. The better the sync, the faster your gauge will fill.

Synchro is the attachment (Affection) between you and your mag. this is basically the % it has to revive/heal/Give Atp-Def boost. 120% = your mag is in love with you... i know....creeeeepy

Rati are sexy. And adorable. And sweet. And loving. And they have a hidden bonus over the uber-overrated Sato nobody ever mentions. A Sato will piss you off if you die, because you either have to give it expensive Trifluids/mates, or a combination of monofluids/mates and Difluids/mates, the former of which you can't buy anymore once you hit L43. So if you wind up dying, especially if it's more than ones, it's a pain in the ass to get your synchro back up. You know what you give a Rati? Difluids/mates. Same exact thing you're probably feeding it to level it anyways. Rati are low-maintainance. Sure, they don't gain levels as fast as a Sato, but they're easy to take care of. I love Rati. *hugs Fluffy*

It's not creepy, it's cute. ^_^
Hmm... I forgot to mention what I feel the best colours for Rati are.
Red, black, either white, orange, hot pink and purple. The light pastel pink isn't bad either. ^^

The one problem with Rati is that their base colour -is- red and black, and just the 'wingtips' change colour... So, it can look a little odd with a character... For example, my FOmar Helios looks a bit odd with a Rati, since he has blonde hair and the second row white costume... On the other hand, my other FOmar Zero looks just fine, he has dark brown hair and the first row red costume, the red and black one with the yellow... Even Helios doesn't look that odd with one, but I could just be biased because I love Rati so much... So cute...! ^_^

I tried to get my Rati's wings to be black but it ended up a dark purple.. It still rocks though.

I'm gonna get crucified, but I think Rati are the ugliest of the 4th evo mags LOL. I'm always amazed at how many people just totally love them. The "see-through" effect is raised from a Black Mag. I raised one for a FOmar once. (See Below)

It is actually possible to change the "body" color of Rati. I've seen one with a blue and black body and white wings. It's believe it has to be raised from one of the "random" mag colors. Trust me, it's top on my "must raise now" list.

It's impossible to not love this mag.

It's the standard dark red (not orange) from a normal red costume.

I have a random color Rati almost finished. It's the dark turquoise color, CANNOT wait to see what he looks like when he's done.

Also almost there are Gold, Pearl, and Lime.

This is going to be one sexy mag gathering.
