XB-Item: How can I improve my Proto Regene Gear?

I'm pretty new, and I found this thing so I'd like to use it, since my best shield at the moment is an Ultimate. What do I combine it with? I couldn't find it in the rare shield item combination guide. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest either a regen gear or adv regen gear or even a secret gear.

That's what I wondered when I got my first one. Thne I realized it sucks. I really want a Regne Gear ADV. fro my FOmar, the HP/TP restoration when blocking should be good.
