GC: Is there a lot lag while playing online?

I'm going to be going online pretty soon and I was wondering if there is any lag online that I'll have to deal with. I'm going to be using a broadband connection , that would help lower the amount lag I might get right?

There is little to know lag online with broadband. Even if you play with phone line, i've heard that there's almost no lag.

You can have lil bit of lag but thats np.

So no lag so far, huh? As long as its not like the lag you can get on UT2003, it can be hell sometimes.
And I would prefer to play with legit players.

I play unreal 2003 on my pc with cable, and i don't have lag. But i have a very high end machine. It depends on the server I play on. I just make sure my ping is down to the 80-110 range. Pso has hardly any lag, when are you going to start playing

Well, I have broadband and my game does lag for a second or two when someone is joining my game. When you are trying to kill an enemy or something, it's really annoying when you lose your momentum when someone joins. Happened with Dark Falz once and before I could heal myself, he swiped me right after someone joined.
Is this lag the same for everyone when someone joins in a game or is it just me?

Well actually I'm upgrading from dial up to broadband before I get PSO online. So I do get lag when I play UT2003, but now that I'm getting broadband I guess there shouldn't be too much lag anymore for anything. I should be getting online in about a week, by the end of July at the latest, and I will finally be able to get my lv 119 HUmar online.

Well, I was just playing the Sil Dragon boss on Ultimate with 3 others and while it was underground zooming around, it got stuck! It was so funny. I wanted to take a snapshot of it as well. Someone said it was lag but it was like on for nearly 3 minutes. It finally got up though.

I only get lag if go to the US or JP servers. Even then, it's only about a second at most.
