Specifically, I want this image to adhere to the signature rules of this forum(52KB is too much):

Cool picture. If you have Adobe Photoshop I can tell you how. File>Open>Document.whateveritsnameis>File>Save As>Save>Image Options. Then change the quality.

You may want to try a different host for your pics. VillagePhotos sux and as you may be able to see directly from the site

"The owner of this file has exceeded their daily usage limit." IE. all anyone sees at the moment is the classic small white box and red X.

Just open a junk angelfire account and use that.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut don't forget to name your pictures with a .txt extentsion if you go through angelfire. They have a anti-remote linking thingy in place.

no they don't. all my pics are through angelfire and NONE of them use a .txt extension. Rightclick on my sig and select properties, you'll see it as a .jpg

x: that's still over limits. It's 600x180 and yours is 256x192
