OK, this is going to sound dumb, but I'm a HUnewearl Lv.19 and I can't work out how to cast support spells on other people. I know you can, say, cast resta on other people, but every attempt I make ends with it being casted on myself. Help!

Your techs are at a low level. What level are they?

You have to low techs.

Resta's at level 1, and...oh. When I heard you could cast resta on other people, i thought you could target them and use the spell. So I'd be needing level 2 then (or higher)?

Level 3 or higher on all support techs to be able to cast on others.

damn. well, thanks for that anyways, but heres another question. I want to use resta for the lost bride quest on Normal (trying to get the Soul Eater from Kireek) so do I need resta or is the lost bride possible without it? And how many monomates can she eat before ive fai;ed the quest?

It doesn't matter how many she eats, just make sure she doesn't die.

There is also some sort of odd glitch or something, I don't know if it does it with shifta or deband, but with Resta Lv.2 it will show that you can target your teammates, but the spell will still only work on yourself. You need at least Lv. 3.

I think Resta 2 can affect anyone standing on top of you.

Its not a joke. I think it only works in EXTREMLY close proximity.

Umm ok but I didn't know someone can stand on you but also resta level 2 doesn't work on other people everno matter how close they are.

Even if they are standing on you.

"Standing on top of you" means someone standing at the same exact spot as you.

When I was really new and really weak to this game and got to Ulti offline, I played Lost Bride, she didn't die, but she ate too much Monomates and I failed the quest.

There is a limit to her Monomates.

I am not sure if you have to cast Resta on the bride in lost bride but I guess it would not hurt to keep her health from getting low.

If you are planning on obtaining Kireek's Soul Eater remeber DO NOT cast Shifta and Deband while fighting him since it will effect him as well ( it will increase his defence and offence, somthing you don't want ), I am also not sure about Resta, last I heard the game recognises Kireek as an ally and as such all your support spells work on him ( so that might include Resta ) but just to be on the safe side stick to using Mates while fighting him. Just warning you before you get to that part of the game and saving you from possibly getting a nasty shock.

You can resta any of the NPC's you fight in Quests. It's best just to use Mates when fighting any of them, Yes.

yeah. it bugs me. i'm so used to using resta i automatically do it and heal them.
