what is this boss trick i hear about in the lobbys all the time and is there some kinda patch thats gonna come out to stop it fill me in..

It's a hardware exploit that allows you to fight the same boss over and over again, with out having to restart the game and redo the level again. Just as a heads up it's a hardware exploit and considered a cheat so you wouldn't be allowed to post it or you would get banned.
