Panarms and the thingies they split into

Hm, I was thinking, if you wanted an item from only one of them, does it actually work to kill only one (when they split), tp, and do it again and again?

The tp guide says that when you tp canadine rings for xp, you'll get no extra items from it, so if the situation is suitably similar, I'd guess not.

I don't know for sure though.

Maybe it does a difference if you kill one, tp back, let them combine and split again before killing once more...

Yeah, I've been trying it and the items just ain't coming : On the other hand, when you tp back to spaceship, they're already joined.

When you kill an enemy and TP back to the ship, the game registers that monster as dead and will never drop another item (thanks for this one VulpesMundi). So, if you just kill one part of Panarms and TP back, that monster will never drop another item for you.
