Well you don't have to worry about it Sonic Team swore up, down, left, and right that they took out all the debug chracters so nobody can Nol ever again. Anyway it was a very evil thing to do to people in the DC days.

I have been NOL'd before on dreamcast so what it realy means is that the hackers turn your character either into a rappy or a level 5 female char.

.....I dident say anything about a Hilda nothing and its not cool i was a rappy and my friend got turned into a girl , it wasent sweet.

not really true, if you just turned off the DC then you could get your char back because it wasnt saved as a NOL but you would lose your items and exp you had gained after your last save although i dont think i would care about losing any rares or exp just so i didnt lose my level 100+ char

id rather have a lvl 200 pal rappy with dual throwing saber guns

just think.. you an innoccent little pal rappy walking around in the forest. and some lvl 10 or so PSO hunters come in thinking your some free exp.. bad idea.. you whip out your dual throwing saber guns, and pk the whole bunch of them. take their items, and then put them and your weapons away.. and wait for the next victums.... hehe..

Yes, but some of the more skilled NOLers would do it to you immediately before you hit an online save point, of which there were a lot. I remember hearing people saying they took a telepipe and when they got to the level below they discovered they were suddenly NOL, which was all too late considering the game had saved once the level had loaded.

Actually, they are still in the game. Even in the GC version, you can create NPC characters. You just can't overwrite someone else with them. That's how it should have been in the first place!!

Heres a tip for non xbox players that use a system where NOLing exists. Takw out your memory card while playing as the game wont have a place to save. That is well unless the game wont allow that

NOL = No Online Love
