PSO the movie

Actually, on one hand, it could totally slaughter the game.
But on the other hand it could be a great sucess.
Think FF spirits within.
Too bad that movie was hated by reviewers (at least in Sweden) they did not understand it, so they gave it 1/5.

Movies do tend to make games look like crap. The FF movie was so bad because it was NOTHING like a final fantasy game.

At least make the movie an anime. That way the people who would watch it would already understand the basic ideals of the plot.

I'd have to agree with Davion on the idea that a PSO movie should be an anime.

As for an artist, I'd say that either Akira Toriyama (Dragonball/DBZ/DBGT) or Nobuhiro Watsuki (Rurouni Kenshin) would be the best ones to do a PSO Anime.

Feh. I'm predicting that they'll end up with hunewearl on hunewearl or something knowing most movies nowadays. Either that, or make it like Pokemon. I'd rather not see my favourite game share the fate.

as long as it would not be an american movie, i'd be fine...

the only good videogame based movie i've seen so far was resident evil.
final fantasy movie was ... just a game without any gamecontent and just fmv... its special on its own but the story, as a rehash from FF7 was a bit lame...


an anime would be great... i think... chara design as near to the original artworks as possible...

I guess they could make a movie if they wanted....

have like them begin on this planet and something happens and they begin the pioneer project....then years later the main character (a hunter) is called up to go on pioneer 2 and find out what happened to pioneer 1. So they get there and the movie is about them searching Ragol and so on. Also they could throw in searching for Red Ring Rico or Even Flowen. Plus maybe add some of the quests if they could and have the characters using the cool weapons from the game. Have Dr. Montague making enemy weapons and so on
