The common 9 star canes and wands are greatly underrated (the wands mostly). That will be a very useful weapon for any tech casting FO until they get a Summit Moon or Twinkle Star.

Can't remember the first rare I got in JP ver.1.0, but he first rare I scored when I got ver.1.1 was a Yamato (which I later lost to a FSOD).

My very first rare was a Photon Drop on Normal in Forest 2. It was the very first time I played the game too. When I broke the box I was like "what the hell it's red"(as a noob I didn't know that red items were rare).

i got mine CHRONOLOGICAL one from a friend but my first after that was a rappy wing from the first rappy on hard.....then a sec later an al rappy gave me a brach of paku paku then nest lev the first dragon i see gives me a fire septor agni!!!! i was soo happy, it now occurs to me that this was a cruel joke of fates that built me up and i didnt find another rare until hard ruins....-_-

My first rare was a P-Drop during one of the forest quests on normal. Seconds later, I had started yelling 'WTH is a PHOTON DROP???' on pscave.com.

i think my first rare was.....hmmmmmm...one of the following: Secret Gear...A.D.D. slot (hehe)...p-drop sumthin sumthin &vise....thats as far as my mind goes back...
