Running Back FinalFantasy X

Hello everyone i recently decided to crack open the old trusty PS 2 game case and run back FF X.
And i must admit the first time i took the,graphics for granted but did anyone else notice that this game just looks so dang NICE!!!

Yeah i just recently went back to the game myself, and spent a great many hours maxing out my characters. Finally got the last of the Aeons. Great game.

When I loaded it up for the first time, I thought the scene with them sitting around in those ruins with To Zanarkand playing was a CG movie. Then I found out those were just the normal graphics and I was like "Damn." Then again, I'm coming off of FFVII and a bit of FFVIII. ^^;

Yeah it looks great...but fighting all those monsters in the collosseum place (AFTER you've gone all over the whole world capturing HUNDREDS of monsters) is just a wee bit over the top...*hates that fish thing that punches you and turns you to stone, even with stone guard*

I mean getting all the ultimate weapons and Magus sisters and everything there is in that game is nigh impossible...I mean dodging 200 of those lightening bolts IN-A-ROW??? Give me a break.


P.S Yojimbo and his fight-ending attack is badass. : )

Final Fantasy X. Absolutely brilliant. Second favourite Final Fantasy. Would of been my favourite of the series, but it just didn't have the magic FF7 had (Despite overall, being better). Any one else found that with newer games of late?

all of the Final Fantasys were great. but 2 and 7 were the best I must say

I agree 2 and 7 were the best. I liked 3 (U.S.) alot too. However I didn't like X it was too easy and Tidus is very annoying.

Hmmm would have to agree i love FFII,FFIII,FFVII and FFX i will be purchasing FFXI & FFXII on november 5

10 was one of the worst, way to easy, come on you can do 99,999 damage! You can't die at the final battle, all of the characters sucked, Tidus cried to much, the whole magic system was horrible ....

Hmm... yeah you are right, but I dunno, there's sumthing about it that I love.

FF12 out on November the 5th? You sure you got that right? Japan I assume? I haven't seen anything about it bar one picture. As for FF11, who knows when, or even If it'll come out in Europe.

Hmmm well i personally found Tidus kinda funny http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif and the battle system was not one of the worst,its was actually pretty innovative,and there has almost always been a attack with the ability to do 99,999 damage if you do it correctly.
Example: Rydia could do 99,999 using meteo in FFII & cloud could do the same using the Knights of the round table attack in FFVII. am i one of the few who actually like ffx? the storyline is good but, they could have added so much more and it was quite restrictive with how you couldn't make your own decisions and travel the world manually. even though it was a straight-forward game which was too short, i still loved it. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

come on, i'm leveling up all my characters to fill the entire sphere grid up because for some reason i find the battle system fun! hehe.

You must be joking if you think doing everything there is to do in that game is easy. You clearly did not do even half of what you can do.

What are you on about? I've pretty much masterd FFX. It's not that hard.
It's by far the easiest of the FF series to Master. Just because your finding it difficult to do, doesn't mean the rest of the world are finding it impossible awell.

Yeah the final battle wasn't too threatening, i think one of my characters died ONCE during the whole shebang, and i had the halo at that point so it didn't matter. This was before i even bothered maxing a character in certain stats.

Anyone seen that 12-13" Kimahri toy at Gamestop retailers? Awesome paintjob, best ive ever seen on a normal plastic 'toy'. The Auron one looks a little...off but maybe that's because he isn't wearing his glasses in the box.
