i don't get it, what's the point of luck? i see no point to it at all...

increases the amount of crical hits that you do. Very useful, because it adds a ton of extra damage when maxed out and using a 6-9 hit weapon.

Luck increases the chance that you will get a Critical hit.

Nothing more.

Nothing less.

so i was right, luck is completely worthless...

Luck isn't worthless you do 1.5X extra damage.

My HUmar could do 800 damage easily in the VHard Seabed.

LUCK IS NOT WORTHLESS. Getting a critical hit can sometimes save you from death if your normal hitting won't kill the monster in time. Plus the extra damage is nice.
