GC: PSO System File

Anyone know exactly what's put on this file? I need to change my serial number and access key and I wanna make sure I'm not deleting anything that has to do with my characters.

I heard that if you deleted the system file it'd remake all of the other files, including the character file... I also heard that deleting your guild card file will get rid of the serial numbers (or was that corruption..?)..
