Can't you just check out the http://www.playsega.com website or look around on some PSO sites?

$8.95 per month, but its worth it to play online. Offline gets so repetitive so fast...well so does online buts its still worth it...

If you give a mouse a cookie...:

Well, after buying the cube and the game, plus a memory card... you may find that you need a second controller.

((cube at c. $140 + $50 game + 251 memory card for $20 + extra controller for $20))

And then you'll need an online adaptor... (BBA $35/ dial up $35)

But you have to have an online service - DSL/cable runs c. $40 month, dial up (unlimited) for c. $20 month

And then the PSO per month fee is $8.95 w/ first month free.

Maybe that breaks it down a bit

Also for BB you will need to buy a network adaptor for $7+ depending on length. Phone cords are much cheaper, dunno the exact price.

Ketchup345, thanks, I'd forgotten about those. Length (and thus price) would depend on the distance from console to modem. I probably should have thrown in a router, as some connections can be picky, and people might want to use the computer as well...

Now, for X-Box, you have the console ($180) and the game ($40). You don't need a memory card unless you want to travel with your characters to a friend's house to play. So it's an optional $20.

In order to even play offline, you'd need the X-Box Live kit, so tack on $50...

And then to play online you'd have to have Broadband and that runs you c. $40 a month... And then you'd still have to pay the $8.95 sega monthy fee

Add that to the cables, a possible router, the possible extra controller ($20)....
