Is there a way to tell if a item is duped

There's no way to know if an item is duped. If there was, then ST could ban all online dupes.

well, if someone gives you an item you could ask if it was duped. They may lie, they probably won't. items that are uber rare or have huge percents are probably duped if they're being given away... though there are exceptions to that rule of thumb too.

The only way to get completly totally non duped items is to find them yourself and not trade for unknowns...

the best way is the precents if they are crazy like 100 on everything then probably duped

That and usually when you go to the shops. It's usually shows up as only 10 meseta when you try to sell it.

ask how many they have more than 2 super rares... well its a dupe

the only rares you can tell if they are dupes or not are the 200 lvl sato's (lvl 200 in ONE stat and none in any of the others)
