Have you played Harvest Moon???

Harvest Moon 64 was a good game, and very much addicting like PSO... I married Maria the first time I played and didn't get that many pictures or raise that many animals... I always start a new game over the summer! Have you played the game and did you like it???

I played the SNES version, and I really liked it.

I have no clue why I haven't tried out any of the newer games.

I actually downloaded the Snes version the other day. I still haven't got round to playing it, but I've heard it's a great game.
I've never played Harvest Moon 64, because as always it wasn't released over here in the Uk, but Hopefully The same won't happen for the GC version. I've heard it's kind of Similar to Animal Crossing. (I got it on Import) Is this a fair comparison? Or is it completely different?

I wouldn't say it's a fair comparison to Animal Crossing, but a close one. Harvest Moon centers more around farming and such, not exactly just your house and personal possessions.

Harvest Moon 64 was the greatest N64 game of ALL time! But the PS2 Harvest Moon game was *ahem* bad.

I downloaded the Rom for the Snes Version several years ago, tried it out and liked it ( and then deleted it because I was a good boy who did not want to break any rules or laws ). I purchased the GameBoy Color Version shortly after that, played it to death for about a month or two then lost interest and have not played a Harvest Moon game since. I just lost interest in it because it was too repetive and somewhat un-eventfull ( the GB version that I owned did not allow you to do stuff like socialise or date or get married, just farm work and the occasional trip to town to do shopping ).

I did however buy the N64 version for my brother on his birthday and he seems to have gotten a real kick out of it.

Dammit, I remember something from a movie or tv show saying something about the librarian types. Thats sort of the reason I had my char marry her, anyways the baker girl was the only other appealing one.

Changing the subject slightly, Is Harvest Moon for the GC coming out in Europe?
We got left out on the n64 and I don't want to buy it on import as it's irritating getting that Reloader Disk to work. (It does a majority of the time, It just takes effort to get out of my seat to start again).

Intimidacius married the Mayor's wife. Yeah, he didn't. He got stuck with Karen the first time (N64). Have you ever noticed that Popuri asks you about your wife and refers to her as "him" or "he"? The SNES one was great. The GBA and GC ones will rock, too. Haven't seen the PS one, though.

I bought Harvest Moon for PS2. It was pretty cool. I'll probally pick up both the Gamecube and GBA versions when they come out.
