Thoughts of Using Dupes

Ive lost so far, a good mag and my favorite weapon, Chainsawd (good % in dark and hit). These WERE in my top 10 most important items and im seriously disgruntled! Ive been proud to be legit till now.... but im seriously thinking about using dupes... the idea makes me sick but not as sick as the idea ive got more to lose. So, what do you all think? Stop before I make a mistake or save myself the pain of losing stuff I worked days to get?

It's ok to use dupes as backup for your prized equipment. It's not ok to use dupes as a medium for trade without telling the person who is receiving it. I back up all of my characters' equipment on an alternate mule card in case I lose them. I think protecting myself from problems such as the FSOD or corruption are a good reason to dupe items. Experience can be gained very easily online. Just find a friend who has a high level and let them stand in the middle of a room taking hits for you.
