It's relatively common for a rare, but it's still a decent weapon for a Ranger. At least until you get to Ult and start finding the really good stuff.

Yes, it's slow. But if you line up the enemies, Guilty Light has a decent chance of freezing some or all of them.

Like most weapons, it has it's ups and it has it's downs.

The Photon Launcher type can be very useful in certain situations, but this being most apparent in boss fights.

It will hit multiple targets on dragon bosses, even when they are flying high in the air.

It will hit about 5 targets on worm bosses.

It will hit all 4 screens per shot on Vol Opt.

Finally it hits multiple targets on the Gal Gryphon as well.

The only bosses it isn't too useful on are Olga and Falz.

Just try it out in different situations, I'm sure you will grow to love it.
