Help me figure out which item was my first "rare". I found the following in this order:
1. Del Sabre Right Arm (Ruins, normal)
2. S-Beat claws (Mines, either normal or hard)
3. Soul Eater (followed FAQ instructions on normal)
4. Akiko's Frying pan (followed FAQ instructions on normal)
5. Dragon Slayer (beat Dragon on hard)
6. Suppressed Gun (somewhere on hard)
The Del Sabre Right Arm was a cool find, since I had no idea rare items existed when I found my first one. The Dragon Slayer was also special since it was the first time I saw the delightful "? SPECIAL WEAPON" item pickup. However, Dragon Slayers are a dime a dozen, so I guess it doesn't "really" count.
The Soul Eater and Frying pan weren't really that exciting to get because I was simply following directions. The only reason I bothered with them in the first place is because me and my friends came up with the idea of an all Frying pan "Iron Chef" team.
I like to think of the Suppressed Gun as my "first rare" simply because it was the one and only item in the PSO World rare items list which I saw and thought, "I want one of those!"
