What exactly is the purpose of IQ on a mag?

I know what synchro is and does, but what about IQ? My mag is around lvl 155 and should I focus on getting it's IQ above 0? It is a Bhirava and I am a RAcast. I have around 75 Dex,45 POW,10 mind (don't ask me how there's 10 mind) 25 def.

It determines how often it will do stuff for you such as revive and cast resta.

IQ affects the chance it will cast specials when you go low on health, enter boss fights, die, etc. It also affects the power/duration of the effects when it applies.

Getting your IQ to it's max of 200 is eventually a priority.. but I recommend maxing your mags level first. It's just faster and easier that way, and you can probably get the IQ up by the time you start really needing it.

also, remember that once its level 200, Star Atomizers increase Synchro by 4 (on most mags) . This is quite helpful if your death in Ult. Ruins is abundant...

iq is all about duration thats why some duped mags have 999 iq to make you invincible forever
