Was anybody to beat that game??? I got to the last level, landed perfectly on the previous machines and the only reson I dies was because of the stupid mid-air refueling. I was so close to beatin it, but I ran out of fuel on the last mission and I had no more lives either. Sigh......after that I was never ablt to get to the last mission.

heck i dont think i ever (in my lifetime) have landed once on the dam aircraft carrier. I now carry this tradition to much easier flight games like the Ace Combat series.

beat it once in my whole 18 years of existence on this planet... Landing on the carriers was a pain...

Why was landing on the carrier the most difficult part??? I ususally thought games were tough when you were fighting someone, not trying to return back to base. I guess everyone had problems landing on the carrier. Trying to land on the carrier was a little too real.

I never got pass the first level, don't get me wrong, technically I beat the first level it's just that I never managed to land on the Air Craft Carrier and as such I never got to mission 2 ( likewise in Dogfight mode I beat the first guy but never got to face any others because I could not land ). I supose that if I actually owned a copy of the game that I woud have been able to brush up on my skills butI only ever played my friends copy. To be honest 90% of the time I played this game it was against friends in the versus dogfight mode.

To this date this is my favorite Air craft simulation game, the only one that I think is any good, then again since it placed more emphasis on Arcade fun ( your F-14 had a life guage for god's sake ) I supose it does not qualify as a simulation game.
