Which messenger do you like the best?
From a research conducted recently by AOL,
They are the leading company in messenger programs since most users use AIM (ew). MSN comes next while Yahoo! trails MSN.

I use AIM mostly, so i'll rate that. I also use YIM and MSNM, but they are a pain in the arse.

You can stop that by putting an away message up and checking "hide windows while i'm away."

away messages are stupid to me... what if someone messages me something important and i ahevt that dumb away on??? i like MSN because i can put myself on away and still view my msgs without having my messages popped right at my face.

as for ads... AIM or MSN dont really have any.... wow that small lil bar! lol
ICQ has alot of ads though x_x;

Then set it to hide messages, but set it to beep when you get a message.

I like AIM, and if I can ever figure out how to do a damned thing in IRC, then I'll use that.

I vote Trillian, its a conviniance to have one messenger up at a time, it truly is the messenger of kings.

IRC > All.

Not like it matters, there's always someone you know, that will use a messenger you don't use, then they'll get you to use it. You'll then end up having all of them open, and get annoyed at all the windows open http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

that's why Trillian is so nice, you can combine all those messengers into one program

personally, i use yahoo, cuz my primary email is through them and has been for years, and i'm notified on-screen when i receive new e-mail

I simply don't like the Trillian interface, which is why I don't use it anymore.

That's why you get a crack, and download Trillian Pro. Email notifications for all chat programs.

If your using AIM on AOL youll still get those message popups. If outside of AOL (like me. i have Juno but i use AIM), nerver happens. I kno because im playing starcraft and they pop up. Once i rid it, im getting massacared. Damn them and the ass who does that.
