what motivates you to kill a boss?

well for me (this may sound nutz)when i fight dark falz's final form what motivates me to kill him is the music, if you listen, when the people are chanting, it sounds like they're yelling Dont Hold Back. Listen to it in the BGM and youll see what i mean.

This may sound wierd but the sealed-J motivated me to do the ultimate VR temple, VR spaceship at level 78 just to get it, and until now I have only realized the sealed-J's incredibly low and insane drop rate.

I was also motivated by the fact that Olga Flow drops the DNA (offline) so I completed the ultimate CCA and seabed at level 111, but to no avail...

Hmm what's next? Ahh the Red Ring

I'd have to say the music too! I like the song playing when you fight both Falz' 1st thru last form.

I also like seeing how good I am with different items; like fewer DI's, less Dolls, and starting with 1/4 TP...

getting out of this god damn level...especially the caves and mines...i can't stand those two (i like the mines more cause they're shorter, and the boss is a piece of cake...even easier than the dragon...maybe...) but i was extremely motivated to kill falz yesterday so A.) i could get to ultimate (woohoo! finally made it!!!) and 2.) i accidentally hit reset the day before while in that room before the falz warp (you know the one...that REAL big one...with loads of enemies in it...yeah...THAT one...) grrrrrrr...so i pulled out my akiko's frying pan (needed the mst increase...it does more than my plantain leaf) and 12 scape dolls and wooped falz ass...i was motivated by the fact that i wanted to have at least 4 scape dolls when i was done...i made it out with 8 woohoo! take that falz!!! even when you can kill me in one hit with your arm swipes i can still beat your ass down!!! fear the lil FOnewearl!!!

oh...right...sorry bout that...im just excited...hehe...

For Vol Opt - the second round musics like all dun dun dun dun and such, Vol Opt thinks he's the Boss man, I say a healthy dose of Crazed HUcast.

It depends.

Sometimes it is the Experience points that I am going to get that motivates me. Other times it is because that paticualr boss may drop a Rare for me, that is also a good motivator. The rest of the time my motivation is just unlocking the next are/next difficulty level ( next difficulty level for Flow and Falz ). These are what motivate me when I fight a boss.
