I was just reading through some of the challenge mode information on PSOWorld and read something about a No Type S-Rank in this guide...

Is this just like a regular s-rank?

It's a randomly picked Srank that was only availible on DC PSO. It may be included in EPII Cmode, but that can't be confirmed yet. I'm pretty sure they would also have no type, so the name would just be what ever you named it. For example if you named it BILLY and it was a twin, the name would simply be "BILLY"
