A Garanz lays mines if you wait for like....a few minutes. Some loser friend of mine who takes his sweet ass time to kill enemies found this out...did anyone else know about this?

The Garanzes I fight always lay them out when I take out more than half of their HP.

It's no biggie since I'm using Barta, but sometimes I think that's why my FO is killed in one hit when the Garanz is touching me... :|

Interesting never the less. I just always issued quick death with my HUcast, and anything that repeatedly shoots missiles tends to be a concern. O_o

I guess they only lay mines when they have lost their shieldings, but hell. I did not see them laying mines though ^_^

Laying mines is normal.
I've been watching them do it since DCv1.
They lay mines if their shields are gone.
If you haven't done enough damage they'll just keep using missiles.

I just circle them 'til they die, and I've never seen a mine, 'cause they lose shielding, and next one of their attacks=suicide.
What kind of traps do they drop?

I confirm this:

The Garanz lays proximity mines after most of its armor is gone. It'll usually deploy them on its last shards of armor.
