Probably more than one person in the house wants to play online at the same time. But you can't do split screen online, you'd need to have 2 XBOX's, 2 online accounts, a good modem and a hub.

Can't you play Moto GP online demo split screen on live? That's it I believe.

Xbox PSO is a quick GC port.
So, although the Xbox could easily do splitscreen online with its broadband connection, it's not done.
