In the episode they showed last night, which was episode 5 I do believe, they had a part when it was animated like South Park. That had me laughing for a while. Damn! I can't believe I missed him dressing like Lupin. I love that show, so I thought I would catch nearly any reference to it. (which I have before)

Erm...The start with Mamimi and Naoki...Subbed...Dubbed FLCL irritates me... Mamimi sounds like a guy...If they do that to Haibane Renmei with Rakka's voice all hell will break loose.

It's a very good series. In fact, we should all demand another series.

The lupin part was just a reference to the opening theme of lupin. (Haruko (fujiko) has a spring loaded boxing glove between her legs and hits the guy (Lupin) when he tries to jump in bed with her.

The anime was so amazing, I even downloaded winamp skins of haruko and... that boy.

Uh, yeah, it's 6 episodes.

I also found out that the 3 DVD volumes are actually 2 episodes per DVD. I'm guessing the only bonus would be that it's uncut, unedited. Thank goodness I didn't spend 30 bucks at the Suncoast. *whew*

And for those who fear the series going old, they're only going to rerun each episode one more time.

From what I was told, there are 3 DVDs (2 episodes each) at $30+ each... I probably won't be buying it unless the Box-Set is $50+, but no more than $80

I am not sure about FLCL. I watched the show a couple nights ago and while watching it I thought to myself, "This show is why kids in Japan had a mass epileptic event like when Pokemon came out and tons of kids had sezuires." I mean the show was jumping around so much to different thought streams that I am suprised I didn't have one!
I would have to say that the animation is beautiful though, but after watching FLCL my brain hurt from trying to make sense of it. Well, you guys like it and I am not trying to discourage FLCL, but I am just trying to say that FLCL must have been created by some whack-o that got lucky with that one or it is just some sort of insane bliss I will never understand. And if FLCL is an insane happiness then Japanese people must really be into some strange stuff o_0

Seizures are caused by a series of flashing light
patterns, you couldn't have had a seizure from
FLCL because it doesn't flash with bright colors.

And about Pokemon.Those Japanese kids got seizures
from the episode with Porygon.Trust me, I know.

If nobody got to see all 6 episodes, you're screwed. They're not showing it anymore. That's it. Only one set of reruns.

If anybody can find a box set, do post ASAP. The 3 DVD volumes were seen for 30 bucks each at Suncoast, and they only contain 2 episodes per DVD. Big ripoff.

Err, the fifth episode's gonna stay in my head. Who can't resist the shots of Haruko in a towel and bunny costume? X3

It's correct, a robot is a machine, whereas a cyborg is an organism with mechanical parts linked into, and working with, his body's system (cybernetic implants, they're called).
