MOME, are you ok?

I decided to play Unsealed Door again for some easy experience, and I was just about done when MOME got killed. Thing is, the quest didn't end. He just kinda stayed there on the ground, dead. I kept going on, puzzled by what just happened. When I got to the boss, MOME came back and did his usual crime, faking dead on the boss. Has this ever happened to anyone before? I wonder if there's a potential exploit here to keep playing when the AI dies. I know that would help a lot of people out who can't seem to protect the stupid AI when they get surrounded by 5 enemies.

That does seem odd. Must be some sort of glitch. How did he die?

EDIT-I mean, what were the circumstances of his death? What killed him?

Er, he plays dead during that boss fight because he's afraid O_o.

He didn't really die at all, and you didn't lose the quest, He was just making it easier to fight the boss.

He meant before the boss fight...

Ah. Well that would make less sense. Perhaps it's set into the game that when Mome 'dies' He doesn't die, because of the fake death with De Rol Le.
