GC: Side Quest Question?!?!

I heard from somebody that if you do that Quest where you have Nei on your team, that near the end, when she asks you your name, if don't tell her, that Kireek goes bad or something, and you have to fight him, and you can get his weapon... And he said it was a Side Quest. I know nothing of these "Side Quests", can someobody lend me some info on this subject?

If you want the Soul Eater, it's an offline 'side quest'.

Same as the rest of those. Though, If you want the special Sue/Bernie subplot for getting Kireek on the Seat of the Heart Quest, and the Ragol Ring.
