What does "Megid penetrates" mean?

My Megid is only level 4...

I don't understand the spell at all. I'm a FOnewearl, and it penetrates which is sweet, but does no damage. The only thing I've done with it so far is cast it at a Canadine on normal just for the helluvit and it died instantly o.o

That's the point of the spell, Megid kills in one hit. Level 4 is obviously weak, and barely does anything. Megid does no damage, though it just has the ability to kill in one shot.

megid 15 doesnt even kill normal boomas.
