something that bothers me while going through ruins in ultimate difficulty. I'm using a hucast at lvl 114 who has a DEF of 830(Includes mag/armor/units/materials). however I still lose between 300-400hp each time I'm hit. How high does your def has to be before the damage taken isnt so insane? e_e

Same thing happens to me. But I am only at level 87 and they still take off 300! That's kind of stupid, but you need a challenge right....?

I do like a challenge( my weapon of choice is a Dark flow). It just something that annoys me slightly that leaves me clueless as well

Yeah well in the last 10 hours I have learned that ST sucks

I think they do set amounts of damage. When I first was at VH mines (at about 50) I lost 1/2 my hp from Gillchic's Laser. After leveling up to 80, they still took 1/2.
