Can they be earned in offline C-mode, or do I have to get a BB adapter and license & get them online?

You can earn the yellow-bladed S-Ranks online, and the joke weapons like the Broom, Crazy Tune, Cameleon Scythe, etc. are only available from offline C-Mode.

The online S-Ranks are a bit of a joke as well. Might as well get one that's funny, no?

The Online only have a low starting ATP, but incredibly high grind limits. This can raise their ATP to an acceptable level, BUT the ATA remains pitiable. Also, the 200+ grind is kind of expensive for an "OK" weapon. The point is that you can name them something original, and show them off like a trophy.

The offline prizes are jokes. A chameleon on a stick, that sticks out its tongue when you swing? A pan and ladel? A hammer that squeeks when you swing it? They're funny, plain and simple. And...not much copied online.

I remember those weaps back on the DC days, you could earn them from doing that Famitsu quest, right? With the badges and all? Yeah, I was wondering what happened to those. This topic answered my question.
