finding stuff

i come from the diablo 2 world, where you can find a crapload of stuff from one monster. i was wondering if you only get 1 certain rare weapon/item from say a hildeblue, or are there a lot of different rare items from one monster?

Certain rares are set to certain enemies depending on what ID you have.

Check there for all Rare Findings from Monsters.

Most monsters are designated to one rare drop, You won't get a Red Sword from a Melqueek, then in the same run, find something like a Cross Scar from a Melqueek. Most of them have desginated drops.

For example, let's say you kill a Hildetorr (Ultimate mode only) with a Redria. His rare drop will always be Magic Stone: Iritista.

But let's say you found and killed a Hildetorr with a Yellowboze, then any rare that you found from a Hildetorr would be Frozen Shooter.

Now some people may consider Photon Drops to be rares, the thing is although they're yellow text I think that they're found in random places (not quite sure though).

Haha, I love that face. I got cheated out of an Asuka twice because of those evil items... I mean, they're not bad or anything but c'mon it's like they can think and are saying:

"That's right fool, get over here. I'm an Asuka aren't I? Oh wait, NO I'M NOT! Hahahaha! Oh man you shoulda seen the expression on your face! Hahaha!"

To actually answer the question, each enemy drops one item at a time, not a circle of items like the Diablo 2 Rare enemies. If a Hildertor drops a monomate, you gwt only that monomate. The fact each drops one KIND of rare item is really irrelevant.

I suppose that could have been taken two different ways. I see it as asking if you can get a different rare then what you just got at a later date, from the same creature. So the answers weren't exactly irrelevant.

I keep being cheated by Pinkal Barbles, 3 red boxes so far, all PDs x.x Then there was the Redria Hidelt that dropped a PD while I was looking for a God/Battle. I just about flipped after that. I have yet to get a PD from a boss or rare enemy though.

Yamigarsu, I'm guessing? But, whatever the rare, seeing a red box from something that uncommon only to see that its a PD had to hurt quite badly.

Yeah, it should have been the Yami.

Unfortunately, it wasn't. It was just another Photon Drop x1. That was the only time I've ever seen a Zele drop a red box. Ever.
