I'm not here to complain about this but what does he need it for I just want to know. Ok the fonewm has a really weird item on his list of suggested ideal equipment http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=716, and it is none other than the Plantain huge fan (seen here)

No, there's no tech bonus, and I don't think it affects attack speed... However, it's just about the ONLY multi hit melee weapon equippable by Forces. You said you're a FOnewm? They're better suited as tech forces, so personally I wouldn't bother with it. It's up to you, though.
