Did anyone know, you can pause the game offline by opening the drive and closing it when you come back?

Don't do it while saving or in timed quests however (doesn't pause the clock)

I also tried to see if this method could change common monsters to rares (instead of telepipe trick) but it doesn't work, so don't bother, heh.

It works! Yay, now when my sister's bugging me to do something, I don't have to put her on pause.

Is this for Xbox or GC? I doubt Xbox cause it would cause the system to restart....

This would be for the GC highelf.

Actually it's not apart of PSO but built into
the GC itself. It's basically a safety feature, so if the lid comes open like if someone "accidently" opened it, just close the lid, let the GC re-load for a sec and you can resume play. A rather neat feature if you ask me just like the eject button for the discs.

You can do this with any game in the GC just open the lid and it will give you the message that the lid is open please close it deal.

Neat, just don't try it online. I don't trust anything like that online.

Im pretty sure the same type of thing worked with the Playstation One system and the Dreamcast. I guess if your making a console system with an open lid that would be a wise saftey feature to add.
