Yeahhhh, anyone remember how to avoid the corruption thing *after it has already said it's been corrupted and needs to be formatted*? I really am not in the mood to lose 600 hrs of play time+the rest of my saves.

In relation to PSO character retrieval after a corruption, the sticky guide mentions the following:


* NOTE: Some people have said that, if you suffer a SOD and then try to load your character, you can bypass the error message that comes up by removing your memory card, sticking it back in, and trying to load your character again. This, supposedly, will save all of your items. However, I have not personally done this, and cannot verify that it really works.

Don't work, memory card is like, perma-corrupt. I'm gonna throw it in the microwave and buy a new one.

try deleting the guild card file, as this is the last bit thats saved, and the most likely to give a general coruption message.
you are using an official memory card arent you?
