Offline PSO Players Unite!

Alright, I have an idea about how to make the game more fun for PSO players, solo-ing offliners in particular. I propose that we get search for items together and talk about it via, the forums, PMs, or instant messengers. We could get run "partners", that we stick together and both look for the same item off of the same enemy making the same runs. It could give all of us offliners more of a sense of community play, and could be more fun.

The advantage to this could be great, much more excavation reports, when people ask questions as "how long it takes to get blah item", they could get more accurate responses quicker, as opposed to "could be 1, could be a billion" type style answers. I personally think that this would be more fun. I would like to get some of the "big offline players invovled", blue hawk for example, because I know that he is offline, and makes tons of runs for items. This could help make it less boring, and more fun, along with helping the site out.

Of course, we wouldnt be limited to "partners", but could make entire "teams", dedicated to finding rare items, specificly, the rarer ones. This would take dedicated players to accomplish, and we may need to be very organized about it.

I will be the first to volunteer in peoples quests for items, and be a help to them. Also, this is not limited to offline players, if any online person, wants to help out, they can do such, although I would suggest to help out in offline playayble locations, to make it fair.

In conclusion, tell me what you all think about this idea, if it might work, and work well. Any ideas, questions, or comments, feel free to post away, or PM me. I hope this works, as it sounds like lots of fun to me!

Fact of the matter is, I dont know when we can start, but I will gladly take PMs concerning this now. I dont know how we could start it, we might need a sticky, or what would be really nice, a whole forum (yeah right). We could start posting in this thread, and I will try and organize it for all, match up players and such. So either PM me, or post in the thread, and we will all try and get this thing started!

Well, I would recomend, that we only "pair up" for harder to get rare enemy drops. For instance, the greenlil torr, should only take about 2 torrs to get, if that. Of course, we could pair up for things like that, it would just be shorter lived. This might not work if were just piping, unless its a hard to get rare drop with piping (agito-pal rappies, lavis cannon-red slime, etc.). Yes piping would work as well. Just find somone with the same goal and work away!

Sounds like a hassle. I'll stick with my belief that if you have to pay to play a game...it(game) should be FREE! I mean a system + game + modem + internet connection + monthly fees is a bit expensive.

Ok, I have made 10 runs with my pinkal in SoaB, and no luck with the luminous field. I have also made 10 runs through vr temple alpha, and no magic rock moola for greenlil. Keep going guys, these may be some pretty tough drops, especially the luminous field!

Its just keeping in touch with some fellow pso-ers, through the net, and tracking eachother progress on searching for rare items. btw i'm a lv40 FOnewm, yesterday i played like 3 hours straight ((after 5 days of no pso at all, high school needs time)) and i got my FOnewm from Hard forest, lv 36 and nidra lv120 to hard ruins, lv 40 nidra 195 =D and i got NO NICE RARE!!! just a Brionac from a Guil Shark OR a Nano Dragon, not sure and a Mace of Adaman or something like that from some enemie in the Mines, and i think that's all, oh yeah a girly wand ((grrr...)) fire specter agni i think, but that's all

i'm doing all the quests right now, since i got all of them at the same time and none completed ((exept all forest)) i'll try to get the sue and bernie sidequest, have someone done that!?!?

I finally found a Twin Chakram about a week ago. My HUmar is level 125 (yeah, I have other characters that I play) and the set of daggers were in the Ultimate Forest. This is after I find countless numbers of Bloody Art and Cross Scar daggers (aaaaaarrrrrrrggggg!). Not that these weapons are that bad or anything but when one finds them on such a frequent basis, it can get one's hopes down for finding ANYTHING else.

In response to Servbot41, yes your level and ID are factors that can determine what you get (mostly your ID). Your level matters because it'll determine how fast that you can kill (that is if you're a brute hunter such as yourself). If one is a force with lv 30 megid and/or grants there isn't much more than that needed to stomp any one target (or any of the other heavy techniques for that matter). Yes, I did get off subject but I've got many thoughts to sort out.
