Ok.. in light of the way Tyler ran the last PSO world contest, and the way some of the contestants acted <font size=1>*cough* danger_girl *cough*</font> http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif I think it's time to have a real contest with actual rules.

So here it goes:

The remainder of today and tomorrow, I will be taking entries into the contest... anyone with a female character is welcome to take part, but you must enter yourself before 4pm est tomorrow (3/27).

then each day we will have voting, eliminating 2 of the conestents each day until only one remains.
This will be like the march madness of PSO hotties. So.... I am now taking entrys for anyone interested in settling once and for all: who is the hottest girl on PSO??

WOW....that's the best idea I have heard all day. The initial thought of a Miss PSO World contest was awsome, but it was too much for one person to handle. I mean come on 17 pages of votes and replies....thats just too much. Plus I do not think that Tyler thought that this would catch fire the way that it did.

So I hereby endorse zero101's idea for a more organized contest. I also volunteer my time to make a bracket showing who is matched up against who (much like march madness
), if someone is willing to put it up on their site for all to view.

Neojin: I actually thought the original idea for the contest was a good one... it was the lack of organization and bickering that brought the thread down. I think if one is done up in a fair and organized manor (where everyone knows the rules and deadlines ahead of time) it could be really cool)

I have a better idea. I was about to post it as a new topic, but better discuss with zero first.

I think each Miss PSO wannabe should create her own thread, and let ppl vote(bump) in her thread. Whoever the last one stays on the first page wins.
Herself cannot bump her own thread. individual can only bump the same thread once.....
Now all the Hooties should read this and create her own thread.

Rules:
1.) Every girl should signin here first before the midnight(11pm central) of 3-27-01.
2.) By the end of dead line, you should have create your own thread start with "(Miss PSO)...". Please state your name on the topic.
3.) I'll bump all your threads at the top when the contest begins.
4.) Individual can only vote(bump) ONCE per thread.
5.)Whoever's thread is the last one to stay on first page will be the winner as "Hootie of PSO 2001"
6.) Whoever has the most replies(votes) will be the winner of "Beauty of PSO 2001".
7.) You cannot (vote) for your own thread. But you can vote for others.
8.) Contester should have their pic(s) and whatever she wanna say in her own thread. REMEMBER: once you create your own thread, you cannot post anything again in your own thread.

Any suggestion or correction will be welcome.

That's not a bad idea, but one thing I wanted to do with this thread was add some centralized rules... and make things much more organized and legit. I think having 10 or 15 different threads to keep track of (check for cheating, repeats, etc...) would end up somewhat chaotic.
The way I plan on having this work, each morning I'll post a list of contestants, and then at the end of the day, I will tally up all the votes posted. The next day, the 2 girls with the fewest votes get dropped, and the battle continues on down each day until only two remain. A final vote for the 2 finalists and then we will finally have a psuedo-official PSO world girl.


I just want to keep it simple and organized. But since you will probably be taking 99% of the pictures that show up in here http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif your input is greatly appreciated.

Good day Zero. You inquire as to weather me and Ryiko wish to participate in your "contest". I do not see the harm, however I must make these points certainly clear.

First of all Ryiko is a young impressionable child with great Force powers. She is still in training and does not need to be "swayed" or "pervoked". Also because of her age I will not allow her to be subjected to some of the immoral and perverse acts that have occured before. As she is a orphan I feel a sense of duty and commitment to her to make sure she is brought up right, and learns how to become a proper lady.

As for myself, I likewise do not wish to be appart of any scadalous activities. These would include, propositions, slander, partnerships, and senseless acts of violence. I would like to represent a more refined and honorable side to this "contest".

I find your arrogance to be quite facetious Akumi. Perhaps what you need more than a beauty contest, is a lesson in humility.

It is true that many are "beautiful" and have been plessed good looks. Yet is this a trait that has accomplished anything? Now I must admit I do also strive to look my best and have been told I am "easy on the eyes". However, never would I comprimise my morals and dignity for shear vanity.

I serriously doubt that when our ancestors came to Ragol to establish Pioneer 1, they depended on their looks to do the work. No it was shear strength and determination that game them the power to achieve what was once thought impossible.

Yes I believe in beauty. But my vision of what is beautiful is quite differnt than yours Ms. Akumi. I do not find pleasure in flaunting my breasts and hind quarters. I do not use my beauty to entice those around me to suport my needs.

Instead, I look within myself to find the courage and determination to fight this battle on Ragol, and aid in helping restore peace and stability. When I get back from a morbid slaying of monsterous beings on the planets surface and see the smiling faces of the citizens as they give thanx, to me that is truely beautiful.

Hmm.. definitely not trying to 'bum' you, I assure you. I have 1975, fake Agitos as well as the 3 Books. The 3 books of Katana are needed together with a FAKE Agito to transform into a OrotiAgito, unless of course we are lucky enough to find a 1975, in which case, the books are not needed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, after your 1975 got transformed, the books are still in your inventory right? Well, if it wasn't a 1975, those book would have disappeared. There, hope I've helped answered your question on the use of those 3 books..... eventhough you DID call me an asshole...

BTW, do you happen to remember the term that guy used to name the Agito when he transformed it?
