The Xbox has offline multi (Albeit you still need a Xbox Live Gamertag to play offline...but you know what I mean.}

as far as i know, the x-brick stores all its memory on its hard drive, i might be wrong though. i hope Halo wasnt the only(and i do mean only)reason u bought the box.

I don't know about this "x-brick," but the Xbox stores its data on the HDD, but you can also copy data to, or save data onto memory cards, but that's only needed if you wish to transfer a file to another Xbox.

And yes, it does have offline multimode, same as the GameCube version.

I think they sell Memory Card-like things for the X-*insert heavy object*, so you can backup your stuff.
