Ep.1 items & Ep.2 items

i was just wondering if the website doesnt say anything about enemies droping something in ep. 1 and something different in ep.2, would it drop the same thing in ep. 2 and it would in ep.1? For example, I am a Ramar in Greennil and Merlans drop a spread needle in the ruins on ep.1 . would they drop the spread needle in the vr temple on ep.2?

each monster drops a different item on each mode and in each area you can find the monster. So no a merlan in the temple will not drop the same thing as a merlan in the ruins...

Some of the enemies may be shared between the episodes, but the game considers them to be completely different enemies. Thus, they have different stats, drop rates, and rare drops.

smarmy bastards... I was hunting in ep 2 for Nano Dragons on ultimate... no wonder they didn't drop what I wanted.

That and they don't even exist in Episode II.

Enemies drop different rares on different difficulties and what Episode your on. A rag rappy on Episode 1 drops something different on Episode 2 even if your on hard both times.
