Best "Streets of Rage" type of game?

Run down streets, beat the shit out of people with pipes and knives and get ur friggin revenge!

The Bouncer to me was a good remake of that crap, but what else is a new type of game out like it?

streets of rage, I think it was 2 when they go in the club, that game was incredibly fun

Battletoads and Double Dragon. Terrible, Terrible plot. Very challenging and contrived. Very fun, in my opinion. Double Dragon 4, the last I played of the series, was also very hard and fun.

Double Dragon for NES. That game had the best boss music ever. It was used in the VS mini game too. I love that music, makes me feel like I'm playing an 80's Van Damme movie http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

That game was awsome.

But now, theres that new game coming out i think called "manhunt"? maybe where your dropped in the streets and theres peopel trying to kill you. A remake of "The Most Dangerous Game" kind of. Looks very good.

Anyone know that one game in the arcade where you had two buttons and you could jump in robots and there were only two buttons disected through the middle of a circle?

Also I never got to play streets of rage for some reason, always loved beat 'em ups but that game eluded me.

Guardian Heroes is not only a great side-scrolling BEU (Beat'Em Up), it's a great Treasure game, to boot!

And Nando just pwnz in Arena mode. Imagine a hulking warrior getting his ass handed to him on a plate by a little brown bunny rabbit... LOL! XD
