XBOX Salvation Army New Caretaker and Updated List

I am now in charge of the XBOX Salvation Army. As this is my first time running a project of this magnitude, please bear with me. If you requested items previously and have not recieved them, please PM me and if they are still available I will do my best to get them to you. The rules,along with pickup and donation times will be the same for now. Please check back frequently as I will be updating the list as new items arrive and are distibuted.

welcome to the psoworld xbox salvation army!

the salvation army distributes weapons, armor, armor units, techs, and other items to those in need. pretty straightforward. there are two things you need to know right off the bat...

1. ALWAYS check the most recent post i've made in the thread for up to date info on pick-up/donation times, etc. i will also make a new post anytime i update the main item list in this post.

2. the army does not accept hacked items. i don't feel that i need to explain this policy in great detail. the army is here to give players a helpful boost until they are able to find useful items on their own and that's it.

RESERVING ITEMS -- if you see an item you'd like, just pm me to reserve it. easy! i will hold items until the next scheduled pick-up time (see below) unless you've discussed a different pick-up plan with me.

DONATING ITEMS -- if you'd like to make a donation, pm me and tell me what items you want to contribute. include all photon percents, grind, slots or what have you. all you have to do then is meet up with me. see below for information about donation times. PLEASE NOTE: i will no longer accept nine star rares unless they have photon percents. (this excludes any items that don't spawn with photon percents, as with the booma's claw). i am making this change to conserve space on my characters and because there has been very little interest in most of the nine star rares.

DONATION/PICK-UP TIMES -- i will be in epdote 4 in a room called SALVATION at 11 pm eastern (10 pm central, 9 pm mountain, 8 pm pacific) every thursday night unless otherwise noted. i prefer that all donations and pick-ups be made then. if you cannot meet at that time, pm me and we can try to work something out. PLEASE try to make it thursday night. be punctual. i won't wait more than ten minutes if no one shows at eleven. also MAKE SURE to pm me to let me know you'll be showing up at the scheduled time. you should do this when you pm to offer items in donation or to reserve an item.

weapons are listed with the photon percents of every copy that i have. if a photon percent bracket is preceded by a +x (x being a number), that is the grind for that particular weapon. special attacks for non-rare weapons are listed before the photon percents.

One more thing. The list will be updated every Saturday (as Thursday is when I make distributaions and pickups) so check back on Saturday to see any new or updated items. If you PM me, please give me time to respond. I recieve alot of PM's so it does take time to answer them all, but I will answer all PM's I recieve.

Unfortunately I must admit that the XBOX SA is dead. I fire in the upstairs neighbors apartment caused my apartment to become flooded. My XBOX did not take this very well and all attempts to retrieve any data from my fried HD has been unsuccessful. To all I apologize and hope someone can get a new army started.

Well, it sounds like we have a good group of people to get it running again. How do we want to handle this? I'd be willing to collect common rares (that'll be easy) if we kickstarted the xbox salvation, but do we want one caretaker to hold and manage the items or multi-caretakers. The pro/con would be with one you'd have a central source but then depend on that person's availability, with the multi you can have separate pick up/drop off times running and if one hdd corrupts the entire salvation army isn't lost but you'd have to make sure you lined up the meeting with the right caretaker. What're your thoughts for it?

Naw, that works. This place helped me when I was a n00b, so I got alot of stuff that I can donate like Custom Rays, LOTS of Justy-23STs, some non-rare slots like General/Power, Angel/Mind, etc. Lemme know when/if you'd want it.

If I can get a moderator's blessing I could start within a week or two. Classes start for me on Tuesday but I believe I can keep to the same 11pm EST Thursday slot open as the predecessor had set up along with the by-appt pick ups/drop offs.

I normally give all my legit rares to my friends since I don't use or need them. Sadly, all of my legit friends have quit PSO.

All they are doing is taking up space. I'd rather give them to someone who is legit. I know I'll meet alot of skepticism but all these rares are 100% legit as I found them myself. And yes, I do go rare hunting simply for the thrill. Here's a list of items I'm willing to donate, all are legit.

Not bad for 1 week. I won't be collecting too many common rares, it'll fill my bank to quickly. Hunting for a Spread Needle but all I kept on getting are DB's Sword AUW 3077, far too many of them. My main character is Yellowbose in case you're woundering.

I'm starting up a new Salvation Army thread. I'll start taking in items this Thursday (9/9) at 11pm EST (or by appt) to start generating a list for the army, then have the army fully in swing on each Thursday at 11pm (or by appt). I'll post the army inventory on the new Army thread I started.
