What destroyed Pioneer 1? Watch how it was done.

I guess you could assume Pioneer one was destroyed by Volt Opts or Dark Falz. But if you want to actually take a glimpse of what did it, pop your cd in and watch the introduction again.

Get to the part where Pioneer 2 opens a communication "beam" to Pioneer 1. After the pink and teal beams cross, the next scene shows Pioneer 1 sitting off-center to the right of the screen as the camera pans to the right.

Now look at the left side of the screen. See the ripples? Is it spreading its wings? It emits a teal explosion that destroys Pioneer 1.

Ok guys, so what was that? It sure didn't look like any of the monsters or bosses we fight.

The pit with the waterfalls in Ruins 1 is a good enough explanation for me.

yeah, i noticed that too, might it be a new thing they had planned for Ver.2? a true ending perhaps, that would be cool.

guys... it looks exactly like the outline of Dark Nutz's third form to me...

You know... that form which is the final boss in normal mode...
